Actually, the Supreme Court didn’t go far enough in its ruling. It still let the states regulate guns so harshly that there might as well be a ban. To drive home that fact, just read about the registration rules in D.C. immediately after the Supreme Court ruling. The same guy who brought that lawsuit against D.C. already has a new lawsuit in challenging the registration regulations after they were changed from the first lawsuit.
Furthermore, the Supreme Court did not address the the right to BEAR arms, only to keep them.
