catwalker asked:

In a (not my fault at all) car accident in Kentucky. How much of a percentage does an attorney normally collect? Is 35% of the gross if settled or 40% if suit is filed the norm? Plus court costs and other little things. It seems to turn out they get 50% and I get to use mine to pay medical bills.

The settlement but others take morethis should be settled right up front before you let one take your case and always get it in writing.
