The former Chief Justice of Supreme Court of India S. P. Bharucha had suggested that up to 20 per cent of judges in India were corrupt.But this is applicable to the judiciary system of the country as a whole from lower courts.Is it true that the judges of Supreme court and High Courts of India are also corrupt. Has anyone such experience ?

   yes,surely many judges in High courts are also corrupt . some act directly while others favour the parties by their actions like not hearing the cases or intentionally defering the cases ,inspite of getting listed repeatedly ,at the instance of approaching parties who find that their side of the case is hopeless and delaying the case is the other way they can deny the justice to opposite parties. Judges know that their such action cannot be attributed to them as corruption though practically they favour the parties by such actions and in turn the parties favour them with packets , by kind or services or other sort of things. while lawyers are definitely responsible for delays in settlement of cases but amongst other various reasons , corruption amongst High Court judges is also a factor which plays it’s part in accumulation of cases in such courts
