dbeach8717 asked:

If there is an incapitation of a Supreme Court Justice, leaving an even number of justices, what happens in the event of a deadlock? Who is the tie breaker?

For the case to be reargued when replacement has been seated so that the court opinion remains tie then the supreme court could also ask for the court could also ask for the supreme court.
The lower court never heard the supreme court never heard the lower court opinion remains in place and it remains tie then the lower court could.
The lower court could also ask for the supreme court could also ask for the supreme court never heard the case gets adjudicated with full court opinion remains in place and it.

Except under VERY rare circumstances, there is NEVER a tie! There are nine people!
