I know who the person im suiing is, but the problem is that I called the Better Business bureau, and they could NOT find any information about the company Im suiing. For my “service type” options, if the court trys to contact the agent for service for the company through the mail, how do they contact the company if the address I have, could not be found by the BBB? I have 1 phone number for the owner, and he rarley answers the phone. Im almost done filing my lawsuit please any advice would be great ( I think the company may be a scam)

A woman was recently fired from her job at a daycare for what she says are false accusations concerning her conduct with children. These accusations were given to her in a written statement accompanying her notice of termination. In addition, she was asked to sign another copy of the statement of accusations, but nowhere on the statement did it indicate that by signing she was verifying that the accusations were true.

If these accusations prevent her from getting hired at another daycare and either she can prove that the accusations are false or the accusing employer cannot prove that they are true, does she have a case for defamation or possibly some other wrongful termination lawsuit?

I recently studied a case where a theif was given the perfect solution to get out of a crime, all he had to do was lie and say he was a drug addict and opposed to getting a prison sentence, he would get 90 dys in rehab. Is it unethical for an attorney to tell the theif to lie to get a better sentence? He was not a druggie, just a crook.
