I have a civil lawsuit pending against me for over 40,000 for Alienation of Affection, it is incredibly simple the guy is blaming me for his mistakes and trying to see fault in everyone except himself but he wants over 40,000 in damages lets say he does somehow convince a jury that I was in part the reason for his divorce what would happen if they awarded him a large sum and I was unable to pay as most of my paycheck goes home to my mother who is disabled and needs it to live off of I have very little income I actually get

    An undue hardship on you is wasting his time you are legally earning below certain amount then the person suing you to pay money to another person suing you is wasting his time you have money in any.
